Living out in the countryside of Cambodia is hard at times. I give props to the people living here because they are so tough, strong, and bring such a powerful presence of joy in spite of the conditions they face. The roads here are extremely dusty and the sun is brutally hot, but the people are so encouraging and helpful. I got to help mow the lawns and lawnmowers DO NOT exist in Cambodia… We were offered 2 blades, 1 rake, and a cart. Mowing the lawns was quite a workout, but working together with my peers and the Cambodian citizens made it enjoyable. 🙂
